Whew! Not only is it an incredibly hot summer – but we’re full steam ahead to keep up with the Lord in what He’s doing through ISO!

We just completed the last arm of the ministry, our ‘Family Support Group’! This is particularly a heart-felt part of the ministry to me as I too have experienced this conflicting time of life and know how devastating it can be. This group is for family members with incarcerated loved ones struggling with addictions. It is an eight-session group educating on addictions and its affects on a person and the family. Topics include enabling, manipulation, setting boundaries, trust, forgiveness, basics of when loved ones come home, and self-care. Our pilot group was amazing! A new group will start in a few weeks! If you would like to be involved or participate, please let me know!

We also had our first worship service last month since covid began! The guys enjoyed having worship time again. We are looking for others that will partner with us to help with these much-needed services! You do not necessarily need to be part of a worship team or pastor - just a passion to serve through song, or message.

We still have opportunities available for spiritual mentors (men, women, Spanish). Volunteers listen and provide one-on-one guidance and encouragement to an inmate that has requested this assistance.

We have begun working with Coleman Federal Prison in Sumter County. We are providing ISO classes via email. We will see if God opens another door of expansion there. We are also exploring how to connect with the FL Department of Corrections.

Our Annual Benefit is Sep 30th, 2022. It will be at the Crystal Ball in Altamonte Springs. Please read our announcement and reserve your tickets for this incredible night. This is our major fundraiser which helps us prepare financially for our upcoming year.

Also, if you use Amazon, please consider using Amazon Smiles and supporting us in partnership.

I am excited the Lord kept open doors for us to serve at Orange County Corrections. Our strong relationship with neighboring jails helps us continue to connect those in need with our services. God has provided so we can continue to help the ‘least and the lost’.  I am humbled I get to witness lives changing from the inside out as I know each of our volunteers feel the same!

If you would like to get somehow involved, please email info@isojm.org. Let's see what God is doing through you to help 'the least and the lost'!

Many blessings to you!
